Once hired and trained, including tips, our guides earn their hourly rate and make great tips!

OPEN SHIFTS (one guide needs to do 3-4 shifts a week)

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10:30-2:30pm

Saturday: 10:30am-2pm

TOUR GUIDE MUST HAVE:
– Minimum 2 consecutive years living in St Thomas (this is a requirement)
– Read, write and speak the English language
– Ability to come on time to work in Charlotte Amalie
– Own a smartphone with internet access and WhatsApp
– Check your email at least once per day
– Excellent communication, quick thinking, and problem solving
– Ability to walk outdoors in a 3 hour walking tour

NOTE: Previous tour guiding experience is not required.

Flavors Food Tours in St Thomas is the #1 food tour on island since 2016. Visitors to the island take our historical walking food tour to explore Charlotte Amalie’s history and food. The tour features stops in 5 restaurants in Charlotte Amalie. Guests will try fungi, curried chicken, rum painkillers and more. You’ll be the guide leading them along the foodie path and teaching them about the history of your island (we have a script you will learn).
