About the Practice
Holistic Wellness & Psychiatry is a growing multidisciplinary practice providing psychotherapy, psychiatry, integrative mental health care, and interventional treatments.
Our beautiful expanded office at the VI Medical Foundation includes dedicated therapy space and treatment rooms for Spravato® and IV ketamine. We are building a collaborative, whole-person program that brings together psychiatric care, trauma-informed therapy, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and integrative medicine.
This is an opportunity to develop a meaningful island caseload while helping shape a strong, connected in-person therapy program—not simply joining a collection of remote providers.
The Opportunity
You will provide outpatient psychotherapy to adults, couples, adolescents, or families based on your training and preferred population.
Clinical interests that fit especially well with our developing program include:
- Trauma and PTSD
- EMDR, IFS/parts work, and somatic or experiential therapies
- Anxiety and mood disorders
- Couples and relationship therapy
- LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent care
- Life transitions, grief, and identity exploration
- Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy preparation and integration
Previous KAP experience is welcomed but not required. Training, consultation, and opportunities to participate in our developing ketamine and Spravato programs are available.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality psychotherapy in our St. Thomas office
- Complete timely clinical documentation in the practice EHR
- Coordinate care with psychiatric and medical providers when appropriate
- Maintain professional, ethical, and licensing standards
- Participate in reasonable clinical consultation and team collaboration
- Help create a warm, reliable, and consistent in-person presence for patients
- Contribute to community and referral relationships as the program grows
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related clinical field
- Active USVI license authorizing psychotherapy, or an application already submitted with a documented licensing pathway and realistic approval timeline
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to trauma-informed, affirming, and patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable availability for at least two recurring in-person days each week
Applicants without a current USVI license must be prepared to begin or complete the licensing process promptly. Remote-only candidates cannot be considered for this opening.
Schedule and Compensation
This is initially a flexible 1099 independent-contractor position paying 50% of net collections actually received.

The schedule may begin part-time and expand as the therapist’s caseload develops. Patient volume and earnings are not guaranteed during the initial panel-building period. A W-2 arrangement may be considered later for a therapist who develops a sustainable full-time caseload and wants a long-term employed position.

Pay: $72,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
