Deli Clerk Part Time NEW

We are seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare sandwiches and catering orders from customers on demand. In this position, you will greet each customer as they come to the counter and take their orders for sandwiches as well as meat and cheese slices. You are also responsible for pre-slicing meat and stocking the display cases, as well as cleaning the deli counter and equipment with disinfectant at the end of the day. Our ideal applicant has strong customer service skills and basic food preparation experience.

• Prepare deli sandwiches for customers from orders taken over the counter or over the phone
• Fulfill catering orders from invoices generated prior
• Prepare meat and cheese cuts as well as grab-and-go sandwiches for the deli display
• Slice meats and cheeses per customer request as well as prepare for sandwich orders
• Prepare meat and cheese slices to be used for the next shift
• Keep condimetns stocked on prep table for later shift
• Clean and maintain the deli area as well as equipment such as the grill, pres, and slicers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
