Credit Analyst Full Time

Reporting directly to the Chief Lending Officer, the Credit Analyst reviews and analyzes information collected from existing loan clients and applicants to make meaningful recommendations to the Bank’s loan officers.

1. Essential Functions.

– Enter and update information for credit applications collected by the Banks’ Loan Officers.
– Determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
– Designate the degree of risk involved in extending credit by performing cash flow analysis of businesses.
– Review existing credits to ensure compliance with ongoing reporting requirements and compliance with covenants and conditions in their respective loan agreements and make recommendations to Loan Officers.
– Assist Loan Administration and Loan Officers with the collection of clients’ ongoing due diligence requirements.
– Review insurance policies to ensure compliance with Bank standards.
– Read and Review Appraisals.

2. Additional Responsibilities.

– Actively manage Tickler and logs.
– Participate in projects related to the department.
– Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed in support of the business objectives of the bank.

3. Required Education, Experience, and Skills.

– Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
– Proficiency in word processing, Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis software.
– Knowledge of Bank loan regulations, policies, and procedures.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
– Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
