Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bar Attendant to join our vibrant hospitality team.

• Take orders and handle cash/POS transactions
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take food/beverage orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
• Prepare and serve coffee and mix drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems, cashing out guests efficiently.
• Manage bar stock levels by monitoring inventory, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste through proper handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about food menu items, and creating a lively yet professional atmosphere.
• Uphold all safety standards related to food handling, alcohol service regulations, and responsible beverage service practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in barista/ bartending or bar service within the industry is highly desirable.
• Some knowledge of coffee techniques and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences.
• STRONG ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
• Food safety certification and knowledge of proper food handling procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible beverage service practices required by local regulations.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
