RETAIL STORE MANAGER Part Time

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, and developing team members to achieve their full potential
• Oversee daily store operations such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS system management, and ensuring compliance with company policies
• Manage inventory control through stock ordering, receiving shipments, merchandising, and maintaining optimal product availability
• Drive sales by implementing effective marketing strategies, pricing plans, and promotional activities while meeting sales targets
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a welcoming shopping environment
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and promote teamwork and employee engagement
• Monitor store performance using sales data and operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, inventory management, POS systems, and merchandising principles
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development
• Skilled in budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and operational management
• Experience with retail math including pricing strategies and sales analysis; basic math proficiency required
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively
• Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store experience is a plus; proficiency in organizational skills and time management is essential
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
