4th & 5th Grade Elementary Teacher (Reading/Writing) Full Time

Job Type: Part-time or Full-Time | Reports To: Elementary Coordinator

Virgin Island Montessori School is seeking an experienced, student-centered Elementary Teacher to lead our Grades 4th/5th Grade classroom with a focus on reading and writing. This role is instrumental in preparing young scholars for academic and personal success in middle school, high school, and beyond. Prior Montessori experience is not required, though a genuine enthusiasm to learn and integrate Montessori principles is essential. Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program is a plus.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Teaching, or a related field (Required).
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional teaching experience (Required).
• Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship or active U.S. Work Visa (Required).
• Availability: Able to begin teaching in August 2026.
• Growth Orientation: Eagerness to participate in ongoing professional development and team training.
