POSITION TITLE:*Slot Attendant

TITLE OF SUPERVISOR: *Casino Shift Manager

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Slot Attendant provides superb guest service by monitoring the performance of slot machines and bill changes; ensuring a timely response to customer needs, perform minor machine repairs, ticket replenishment and maintain assigned area cleanliness. In addition, the incumbent in this position is responsible for promoting positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service to include the distribution of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Casino Control Commission’s policies and procedures and company Internal Control Standards and objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: *Must be 21 years of age

GAMING: * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Casino employee license and work permit

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:*

• Complete all related documentation in accordance with the established system of internal controls
• Maintain and assure the proper routing of the department’s paperwork
• Maintain a neat, safe and organized work area
• Assist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, security or senior members
• Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:*

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Excellent math skills required, e.g., add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Must possess excellent communication skills. Observe all activity with assigned area offering assistance to slot and video gaming device players and instruction and advice on machine functions and payouts
• Understand and write English, bi-lingual a plus
• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
• Processes jackpots and completes them promptly, accurately and with a high degree of service
• Accurately complete and sign necessary forms
• Capable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibits the appropriate discretion to situations that require the attention of managerial personnel
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
• Assist in cleaning and picking up work area
• Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance
• Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required
• Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of questionable association
• Must be prepared to work over-time, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations
• Must not have been convicted of a felony
• Must submit to and pass an Alcohol/Drug Screen
• Ability to lift 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraints. Must be able to tolerate constant exposure to general public and excessive noise. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with arms, and talk or hear. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to guest and staff.
