Senior Financial Accountant Full Time

St Croix Company Seeks Senior Financial Accountant

We are expanding our team and are seeking to hire a new Senior Financial Accountant who will become an important addition to our Fund Accounting team. The selected candidate will work closely with the Fund Accounting Department to meet company deadlines. Primary duties and responsibilities include:

· Maintain the general ledger for automated entries as well as posting manual entries.

· Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and provide initiatives to streamline accounting processes

· Assisting in providing timely, accurate and meaningful fund and general business reporting and analysis.

· Supporting the preparation of the financial statements

· Assist with the completion and analysis of our quarterly forecast

The successful candidate will possess the following:

· Undergraduate or graduate degree in relevant subject (accounting or finance preferred).

· 5 years of meaningful, relevant experience (accounting/operations) in similar business is preferred

· Background in financial services is helpful but not required

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
