Hunter Food & SpiritsSt. Croix, is seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety Administrator to lead, maintain, and oversee our facility’s Safe Quality Food system and food safety programs. Job Duties: On-site training at Hunter Food & Spirits for the following will be provided.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the site’s Safe Quality Food system and food safety fundamentals.
• Lead internal audits, inspections, and third-party audits.
• Conduct ongoing team meetings and hazard analysis.
• Train staff on food safety, quality policies, and prerequisite programs.
• Update safety documentation and verify daily quality control records.

Job Requirements (Training and support will be provided by Hunter Food & Spirits General Manager to assist in completing the requirements below)

• Acquire a valid Safe Quality Food Practitioner certificate. Complete certified training in HACCP principles. HACCP is preventive approach to food safety that identifies and controls biological, chemical, physical, and allergen hazards
• Have 2 to 5 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance.
• Know FDA/USDA/OSHA or equivalent regulatory guidelines well.
• Communicate clearly in spoken and written English
