Customer Service and Shipping Coordinator Full Time

We are looking for a reliable and organized Customer Service and Shipping Coordinator to join our freight forwarding team. This position supports day-to-day office operations by preparing shipping documents, assisting customers with shipment inquiries, and coordinating with our warehouse to ensure cargo moves efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone with office experience, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Experience in logistics or shipping is helpful but not required—we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare shipping documentation including customer and vendor invoices required for customs clearance
• Create manifests for outbound shipments
• Verify warehouse receipts and confirm customer information is accurate
• Respond to customer emails and phone calls regarding shipment status and expected shipping dates
• Track shipments and research lost or delayed cargo using tracking numbers
• Assist in identifying cargo received without customer identification
• Communicate with warehouse staff to resolve shipment questions
• Maintain organized records of shipping documents and customer communications

Qualifications:

• Office or administrative experience
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and standard office software
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on outstanding items
• Logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding experience is a plus but not required
