Retail Assistant Manager Full Time NEW

Ocean Surfari is looking for a professional and experienced assistant store manager to oversee the daily operations at one of our locations. As the assistant store manager you will supervise the operational and organizational standards of the store. Your duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels and developing staff to drive the store’s sales. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time position, and you must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities for Store Manger

· Drive customer service excellence to every aspect of the store, including store appearance, display of merchandise, product placement, store layout and selling procedures.

· Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of the staff.

· Oversees staff and fulfills staffing needs for regular hours, as well as special events or high-traffic times.

· Ensures the store always looks clean and inviting.

· Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts.

· Address customer needs and resolve issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.

· Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.

Required Skills / Qualifications

· Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a retail managerial role.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Sales experince

· Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel and carry products in order to perform and cover all work floor duties.

· Ability to motivate and develop teams.

· High level of flexibility
