Maintenance Technician Full Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs on a variety of equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Install, upgrade, and calibrate appliances and mechanical systems in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct inspections of HVAC & appliance technology to identify potential failures before they occur; maintain detailed maintenance logs.
• Operate company vehicles safely for on-site service calls or equipment transportation as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to execute construction or renovation projects involving mechanical systems or building infrastructure.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients or team members regarding repair status and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
• Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams effectively.
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, kitchen equipment maintenance, and appliance installation.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of HVAC & appliance technology combined with construction experience is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles safely; familiarity with equipment repair tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with leadership qualities to guide team efforts when necessary.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
