The PC Technician has primary technical responsibility for the specification, selection, installation, configuration, and operation of the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) hardware and software for the Authority’s computer network system. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies for network management, configuration, and monitoring. Also, responsible for the Agency receiving at least a satisfactory rating concerning HUD agency scoring systems such as Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS), Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) and other future HUD required evaluation systems. The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
